Let's rewind the tape, shall we? My name is Erin, and my story begins in the quaint town of Buffalo, Minnesota, nestled amidst rolling hills and icy lakes. Born in 1981 to
parents whose love was as transient as a passing breeze on a summer's day, I learned early on to navigate life's twists and turns with resilience and grace. As an only child of divorced parents, I became well-acquainted with solitude, finding solace in the pages of books and the whispers of my own dreams.
But life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths, doesn't it? From the frozen tundra of Minnesota to the sun-drenched deserts of Arizona, my journey has been one of constant movement, perpetual motion, and the relentless pursuit of a place to call home. With each move – all 33 of them – I found myself inching closer to something elusive, something intangible yet undeniably real.
It wasn't until I arrived in the vibrant city of Los Angeles in summer 2023 that I finally felt the stirrings of belonging deep within my soul. Surrounded by palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze and the warm embrace of newfound friends, I knew I had stumbled upon something magical – a sense of home that transcended geography and defied logic.
And so, California Dreaming with Erin Gore was born.
